A night to remember: Bergen Catholic wins instant classic over rival Don Bosco Prep


RAMSEY — Greg Toal came home. And Bergen Catholic came back.

And on the winning play, Don Bosco Prepplayed Cover 3.

Bergen Catholic sent four deep — "Basic Four Verts," Bergen Catholic's Johnny Langan said.

“They covered three of them,” the QB continued, “and they missed one. D’Addetta was the one they missed.”

That’s Anthony D’Addetta, a 5-foot-5 senior wide receiver who entered Friday with one catch for four yards this season — which came in Bergen Catholic’s 62-14 loss to Mater Dei. But the smallest man on the field came up huge when his team needed him most. Click here for the full story.
